The Oranje currently do not have a coach after the departure of Bert van Marwijk who resigned due to failure in Euro 2012.
Koeman admitted that he was quite interested in the job, but he would rather stay in Rotterdam next season. He pu support former teammate - Gullit - as the right candidate.
"Of course I do not hide my ambition to train the Netherlands, but I was under contract with Feyenoord and no agreements are made they allow me to go," said Koeman in voetbalzone.nl.
"I will stay at Feyenoord next season, that's for sure."
"Ruud Gullit could be the right choice for the Netherlands," she says again to the former captain of the Dutch national team that won the European Cup in 1988 ago.
