Chelsea's new star, Eden Hazard admitted to wearing costumes numbered 10 at Stamford Bridge. The desire was based on his admiration for the former France playmaker mainstay, Zinedine Zidane.
Incidentally, the former Real Madrid and Juventus were indeed dressed numbered 10 for his country. However, the desire Hazard had vanished. Because, Juan Mata reluctantly handed costume number 10 in Chelsea. Hazard had to be content with costumes numbered 17.
"I've always liked the number 10, as worn by Zidane. He is a role model for me, and I always wanted to play like him," said Hazard.
While strengthening the OSC Lille, Hazard himself gets back number 10. His performance was mesmerizing. He won the French title of Best Young Player in 2009 and 2010 as well as the Player of the 2011 and 2012. He became the first footballer juxtaposing both awards since Zidane.
