Suker: Modric Suitable to Madrid

Ex Real Madrid striker, Davor Suker, assessing his compatriot, Luka Modric, have the quality to strengthen the 'Los Blancos' after the show captivating game while defending Croatia in Euro 2012.

Modric is one of the priority purchase of Real Madrid this summer, and most likely will take it off to Tottenham Hotspur after the playmaker Santiago Bernabeu reportedly reluctant to stay at White Hart Lane.

And Suker, who strengthens Madrid in 1996 to 1999 before moving to Arsenal, think Modric will further honed under Jose Mourinho, especially after playing ciamik for strengthening Croatia.

"Luka Modric is a midfielder with high quality. And most of all, he showed its quality when dealing with anyone. In the game against Spain, he showed himself to be a Real Madrid player," Suker said, as quoted by Insidefutball.com.

Modric was about to leave the Spurs after the bid came from Chelsea and Manchester United. And it seems the failure to the Champions League next season to make his move could be a reality.

While strengthening Croatia, despite impressing during the group phase, Modric failed to bring the team put together a red and white boxes into the quarter-finals because of competition from Spain and Italy.
