Guardia Finanza, the financial problems of law enforcement in Italy, raided the offices of the club Napoli and the FIGC, the Italian football federation, to confiscate some documents at the request of prosecutors in the city of Naples, Wednesday (3/10) local time.
Documents seized from the clubs and the FIGC Napoli related purchase and sale of players and relationships with the players' agents, as well as other documents related to financial changes. According to ANSA news agency, club Napoli suspected of a transfer of financial violations.
"The police asked for copies of contracts between agents, players, clubs and the FIGC. That's all I can say," said a spokesman for the FIGC said.
FIGC party is not willing to name Napoli players involved. Overall what is happening in the police investigation in Naples and the FIGC's office still has not revealed all.
As reported by Football Italia, the police were at the FIGC's office about 30 minutes, while Napoli as the club's headquarters in Castel Volturno spend about two hours.
