Sheffield United for Athlete Award heptathlon
British Olympic hero, girls sports athletes named heptathlon Jessica Ennis has been flooded with various forms of gold award after signing early August.
However, the most surprising is her 26-year award that came from his favorite football club, Sheffield United.
Club nicknamed The Blades will be named in the stadium stands to Jessica Ennis Bramall Lane Stand.
"Getting the award from Sheffield and lub football is a very amazing and really beyond belief," said Ennis who was born in Sheffield. "I had never imagined a few years ago that one day stands Sheffield United will bear my name."
The club owner Kevin McCabe said that he did it in good faith to ensure that the contribution Ennis continue to be remembered.
"Naming our stands as one of the best athletes this country is award worthy," said McCabe.
"I was fortunate to meet Jessica and her family. They are great ambassadors for the city and the sport. I am proud to Sheffield United and its supporters can honor Jessica through the naming of the stadium stands."
