Courtney Meppen-Walter Manchester City Car Accident, Two Killed
Courtney Meppen-Walter, young players home club Manchester City, have languished in prison after involved in an accident that killed two people. As reported by the Guardian, the accident occurred on Saturday night (1/9) on a road in north Manchester.
Meppen-Walter, who was driving a gray Mercedes, a collision with a Nissan Micra containing four passengers. A pair of passengers in the front seat, each aged 37 years and 32 years, have stretched their lives.
While the two young men who were in the back, rushed to the hospital due to a serious head injury. A man driving a Volkswagen Golf was also detained by police on the case.
The accident happened about 10 pm and held in the meeting between Bury New Road and Sherborne Street. Hearing this news, the Manchester City through a spokesman expressed deep condolences over what happened to the victim.
"The situation is still under investigation from the Greater Manchester police and we can not comment on anything related to this incident," said a spokesman for the Citizens on the official club website. However, the witness stated that Meppen-Walters, was driving at a speed that is not too high.
The players join Roberto Mancini's club in mid-2010. Manchester City defender has also been featured regularly for the England U-17.
