The U.S. faces Japan in Final Football Women
Through dramatic action takes place, the United States won tickets to the final of the 2012 Olympic Games women football branch. At the top of the party they will face Japan.
U.S. must fight it out before finally defeating Canada in the semi-final match that was held on Tuesday (07/08/2012) pm dawn. Through the extra period, the U.S. victory with a tight score of 4-3.
Christine Sinclair Canada had become a star after he scored three goals each team in minutes 22, 67 and 73. While the United States made three goals Megan Rapinoe (54 and 70) and Abby Wambach penalty in the 80th minute.
The result was a 3-3 draw last until the referee blew the long whistle of normal time. The game finally resumed into the extra period.
Both have a chance to add a goal, duel Canada vs United States are likely to be resolved on penalties. But in injury time period of extra time both the U.S. capable of Canadian goalkeeper, Alex Morgan's header to make sure the U.S. finally advanced to the finals.
Waiting for their opponent in final is Japan. In the previous game, 'Blue Samurai' beat France with a score of 2-1.
Japan's first lead with goals from Yuki Ogimi made on 32 minutes, and then added Mizuho Sakaguji in 49 minutes. France had just missed out could retaliate by Eugenie Le Sommer.
Girls soccer finals will be held on August 9 at 19:45 (local time).
