Bolton Wanderers midfielder who had collapsed in the game against Tottenham Hotspur last March, Fabrice Muamba, decided to retire from football stadium.
The ruling was made not based on emotional moment. After considering input from the team doctor, Muamba finally took the decision to no longer continue doing business in the green field.
"Football has become my life since the mid-teens. Through soccer step that I get a lot of opportunities," says Muamba Bolton's official site.
"Above all, I'm so in love with football. I feel lucky to be playing at the highest level of football competition," he continued.
He was told about the decision. "Last week I went to Belgium to seek input from a cardiologist. However, the news that I received was unexpected. Now I decided to retire from professional football," he said.
Muamba also like to thank everyone who has always supported it. Fans, fellow footballer, club management, to the medical team.
Bolton was the stronghold thank Muamba. Although disappointed, Chairman Phil Gartside judge's decision is best for Muamba.
