QPR players, Joey Barton finally had to accept the harsh reality for his actions when he met Manhcester City in the Premier League last season. Apart from having to pay a fine and was banned 12 games, his captain's armband also removed.

Barton penalty increased again after QPR impose sanctions, Monday, June 25, 2012. QPR who intends to undergo a pre-season tour of Indonesia decided to impose a fine of six weeks salary to Barton. Thus, the total fines to be paid Barton reached 500 thousand pounds or the equivalent of Rp 7, 3 billion. QPR are not to sack Barton. However, manajamen had warned Barton that his contract coming to an end when he did the act again. QPR have also decided to not bring Barton in pre-season tour to Asia in July.
Leaders QPR, Philip Beard said that the action in the fight against ManCity Barton unacceptable. Therefore, he welcomed the club's way of giving a warning to his players that.
"I am pleased with the way the club and Barton has reached a reasonable way and we fully believe that he would respond to sanctions is the right way," said Beard told ndtv.com.
Meanwhile, Barton said that he deserved a sentence. He was aware of the transgression.
"My attitude was indeed wrong and I accept the penalty imposed on me in return. I apologize to the manager, my teammates and players, officials, and supporters of Manchester City," continued the 29-year-old players.
Barton does have a long record of controversial actions. Not only in the field, Barton also involved a few times a commotion outside the game. In 2008, Barton had to undergo imprisonment for six months due to involvement of assault and affray. He also had a fine eye for young players ManCity burned, Jamie Tandy at a Christmas party.
