Jordan and Bond Follow the trail Redknapp
After former manager Harry Redknapp, Tottenham Hotspur back left two important figures in the coaching sector. This time the Lilywhites to confirm the departure of Redknapp's assistant coach, Kevin Bond and Joe Jordan on Thursday (28/6).
Bond and Jordan is a key person in the coaching staff at the Redknapp era. They look great role when Redknapp must undergo recovery after heart surgery in November.
Spurs again rely on Bond and Jordan in January and February. In that time span, the focus is split due to tangled Redknapp tax scandal until finally freed of all charges.
Bond's departure and Jordan allegedly associated with the arrival of Andre Villas-Boas, who is rumored to be officially became the new boss at White Hart Lane next week. The former Porto and Chelsea manager was indeed planning to bring his own coaching staff, so Bond and Jordan felt it was no longer needed.
"Kevin and Joe joined after the appointment of Harry in 2008. We rightly should be grateful for their contributions and achievements over here. We also expect the best for their future," said Spurs representative is quoted from the official club website.
Former Blackburn and Tottenham midfielder Tim Sherwood, now the sole Redknapp coaching staff that remains. Sherwood is not yet clear what will happen next, whether to survive or to follow the three colleagues who have decided to go from White Hart Lane.
