Glasgow Rangers Degradation to Division Three
Body struck down the stairs, so the fate of the club Scottish Premier League (SPL), Glasgow Rangers. This time, the Rangers had to bury his dream to compete at the highest caste SPL.
Previous Rangers turned his attention to the financial problems that make them bankrupt. But the problem seemed over when the Rangers get a new owner.
Unfortunately it was too late. Because the Scottish Football League (SFL) set the Rangers will be thrown into the third division because it was prior to bankruptcy.
Therefore, they need eight votes of support from SPL clubs to allow them to continue competing in the SPL. Apesnya, some clubs such as Aberdeen, Dundee United, Hibernian, St Johnstone did not provide support to the Rangers.
Aberdeen leaders say, "I can confirm our intention to oppose the re-registration to appear in the SPL Rangers. If the Rangers return to SPL registration is denied, then that is in accordance with the provisions of SFL."
In line with the leaders of Aberdeen, St Johnstone representative also said, "As a result, St Johnstone will not support any application for a new owner of the Rangers to re-appear in the SPL.".
