Retirement has not Want, Klose Shutter World Cup 2014

Age is not young anymore. But the spirit of Miroslav Klose is not lost with the young German players. The proof only, it nevertheless Lazio striker retired today.

Even 34-year-old players still aspire to continue playing for the Der Panzer. He also hoped, could defend the World Cup in Germany in 2014.

"At this point, I hope to win the European Cup. I just had the disappointment of the European Cup," said the former Bayern Munich player told Bild.

"I'm not going to stop. Right now I think to play two more years for the national team. One goal is the 2014 World Cup. If I stay fit and healthy, then nothing can stop me perform there," he continued.

Klose again failed to bring Germany into the Euro championship this year. He is seeking a record all-time top scorer German who is still held by Gerd Muller.

Currently, the acquisition is still adrift Klose scored four goals from Muller notes. He packed 64 goals in 121 appearances for the German national team, while Muller recorded 68 goals.
